The latest information and guidance for learners, staff and visitors

Guidance For Training Courses
Due to the Coronavirus [COVID-19] outbreak, NILC have temporarily closed all our learning centres and suspended all face to face delivery. We understand that your learning week will be different for a while and you may be at home in a busy household, balancing your learning around childcare, caring for family members or other commitments. During this time, our focus is you, your learning, and your health and well-being. As a result all delegates that have classroom courses bookings with us will receive the following options:
- Transfer your classroom based course to a Virtual Live course (where available) to continue learning as normal. All virtual live sessions courses are delivered in real-time with the same expert trainers that deliver our face-to-face courses.
- Transfer your current classroom based course to a later scheduled classroom based course free of charge.
If you would like to attend a Virtual Live course but do not have access to the software on your personal computer (e.g. Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, etc.), NILC will cover the cost of the software license for you to use the software throughout the duration of the course. Please contact your Account Manager to arrange this service, and let us know if you require any further support.
Guidance For Exam Candidates
Following the latest government information our Newport examination centre is currently due to reopen on Monday 1st June 2020. Should the lock down period be further extended, this date is subject to change in line with government and public health authorities advice.
Any candidates that have examinations scheduled that coincide with our centre closure will be contacted by the relevant examination board (i.e. Pearson Vue, Kryterion or Scantron) to reschedule their examination date.
Keep up to date
We are encouraging all learners, staff and visitors to keep up to date on the most recent advice and guidance relating to Coronavirus.
